HARRIS HOBBS

Composer duo Harris Hobbs, comprising John Harris and Benjamin Hobbs began their musical journey together studying music at Kingston University, London. Having both graduated with 1st Class Honours degrees they began working within the live music scene.

While John spent years as a session and studio musician playing for a variety of UK and international artists, Benjamin had been honing his skills as a songwriter and producer in his own right. During this time they also ran a very successful Jazz trio playing shows

up and down the country. 

 

Fast forward over a decade and they retained a strong working relationship, with their varying musical exploits occasionally intertwining within live and studio/production settings. Having spent time composing music together, they quickly saw the eclectic nature of their musical backgrounds combine. They soon began their journey into the world of media composition. 

 

Harris Hobbs has worked on an array of albums that have been published by various music production libraries

such as BMG Production Music, De Wolfe, No Sheet Music, Soho Production Music, and Evolution Media Music.

They continue to work on bold, passionate, and ambitious new projects and strive to creatively fuse live,

analogue and electronic instruments.
